  •  THE COURSE OF FIRE CONSISTS OF 2 RIFLE TARGETS (RIFLE WILL BE LOADED WITH 2 ROUNDS) AND 35 PISTOL TARGETS. 

  •  *ALIBI’S ALLOWED - DETERMINED BY LEAD RANGE OFFICER AND NOT DUE TO COMPETITOR ERROR.

  •  FINAL RANKINGS ARE DETERMINED BY OVERALL FASTEST COMPLETION TIME, WITH ASSESSED PENALTIES.

  •  TIME ENDS ON FINAL SHOT OR WHEN THE PARTICIPANT RUNS OUT OF AMMO. 

  • (+5) SECONDS TIME PENALTY FOR EACH UNENGAGED TARGET.  (+2) SECONDS TIME PENALTIES FOR EACH MISSED TARGET. TEN (+10) SECONDS TIME PENALTY FOR HOSTAGE TARGET / STAGE 6

  •  THERE ARE NO PENALTIES FOR TAKING EXTRA SHOTS FOR MISSED STEEL TARGETS, EXCEPT FOR THE FINAL HOSTAGE TARGET.  

  •  COMPETITORS MUST ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE ALL TARGETS AT EACH POSITION. “ENGAGE” MEANS A SHOT MUST BE TAKEN, WHETHER A HIT OR MISS, AT EACH STEEL TARGET.

  • STEPPING OUT OF A PRESCRIBED SHOOTING AREA WILL DISQUALIFY SHOTS TAKEN.

  •  THE COURSE OF FIRE IS PICTURED BELOW.  THE COURSE OF FIRE MAY HAVE MINOR CHANGES FROM WHAT IS PICTURED. 

  •  PRIZE TABLE SELECTION FROM 1ST THRU 55 WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE FINAL RANKINGS.  FIRST PLACE RECEIVES FIRST PICK AND SO FORTH.  SELECTED. 

  •  TROPHIES AWARDED TO THE TOP 3 FINALISTS.

  •  FINAL RULINGS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE MATCH DIRECTOR

2026 Projected Course of Fire

•   1 - Riding Deep - Start seated in Squad seatbelt on, two hands on steering wheel.  On the buzzer Draw and address the targets from the seated position through the removed windshield  - 5 targets from 12 -15 yards (2 ITOA body, Large Circle Plate, 2 Head Cylinders, 2 No Shoots) (Holster and then exit squad car)

•   •2 - Rifle Targets – Retrieve rifle from blue barrel (trunk area) and address 2 targets from 40 yards (2 ITOA body) Place rifle back in blue barrel and Draw pistol

•   3 - Barrel Avenue – 5 targets from 15 yards (2 ITOA body, 2 Skinny, Large Circle Plate, 3 No Shoots)

• 4 -  Slow Smallville  – 5 targets from 12 yards (5 Hexagon targets diminishing in size, 2 No Shoots)

• 5 - Bangers Ball – 5 targets from 25 yards (2 Skinny, 2 small Circle Plate, 1 Large Circle Plate)

•   6 - Flipper – 1 rotator target, 2 hit plates from 12 yards, it must make 1 rotation (Failure to rotate – 10 second penalty)

•   7 - Hard Target  – 2 targets from 10 yards, only after hitting the Lolli Pop will the second target appear momentarily (failure to hit second target – 5 second penalty)

• 8 - South Tri-State Shenanigans,  – 11 targets from 12 yards (Double Texas Star / Hostage target) * 1 shot on Hostage target only and time ends on last shot.  If you miss the last target, you can not be Top Shot CHAMPION.  This Stage is a tribute to Clay Carns!

Time ends with the last shot taken, missed targets will have a 2 second penalty. 

Total Targets - 2 Rifle Targets and 35 Pistol Targets (Stage 6 will take 5-10 good hits to rotate)

You may use up to 5 magazines, max load on each magazine will be 19 rounds with 55 total rounds loaded between the magazines.
